Paradise Elementary School's Library Program is dedicated to ensuring that students have access to well chosen materials that match the curriculum and the interests of our students.
All classes visit the library once a week. First through fifth grade students may check books out to take home. Students may also visit the library individually throughout the day as well as before and after school.
Our Library Specialist, Mrs. Dungey, strives to provide a warm friendly atmosphere for all students to visit and enjoy. The collection of library books provides for a wide variety of reading and interest levels in both fiction and nonfiction books. Computers for online research are also a part of this modern, well-maintained library. Mrs. Dungey is available to assist students in choosing the perfect book for their individual needs. Because Accelerated Reader is widely used at Paradise Elementary School, students may take AR tests from the library computers.
The library is also a hub for after school meetings and gatherings for our staff and parents.
